This week we had a wonderful outing planned to go get ice cream. However, when the cold front came through this week we all decided that ice cream was not what we wanted. We wanted coffee and donuts! So off to Krispy Kreme we went. The staff at Krispy Kreme were all fabulous which made our outing that much […]
This past Friday a few of our residents, associates and family members from the Gardens at Parkview made an after lunch trip to Braums. The weather was amazing and the ice cream even better! Nothing says “summer” like a big scoop of ice cream….or a huge banana split!!
Parkview’s new bus has arrived. It’s beautiful and catches the eye of everyone when we pass by. Our residents enjoyed their smooth Easter Day ride to church with cushy seats and tented windows. You know what they say “everything is better with blue bonnets on it.” Those beautiful blue bonnets are in full bloom and so are we.
Our Parkview Independent Living residents were out and about once again. We enjoyed one of Grapevine Texas’ hottest attractions, “The 2017 Jazz & Wine Train”. The portions were generous and the staff gave us wonderful service! Shirley, where will we […]

We recently embarked on a tour of our sister city of Dallas to enjoy some of the city sites. The adventure at The Dallas World Aquarium began at the top of the rainforest exhibit, where exotic birds, such as cocks-of-the-rock and many species of toucans can be seen. Lounging around are two-toed and three-toed sloths. […]
Where do we even start to describe our outing to the “Senior Follies” at the Eisemann Theater? First, the entire cast of this Las Vegas-type variety show (complete with seriously skimpy and sparkly costumes) is over the age of 55. These ladies and gents still have what it takes. Second, we heard music from ’30s […]
