One of our Inn outings this month was to the restaurant called Jake's. We ate their famous hamburgers and hot dogs. We went for dinner instead of our usual lunch or bunch outing. After dinner we drove around and saw Christmas lights. Frisco Square had beautiful lights and they were synchronized with music on one of the radio stations. It was a […]
This week we had a wonderful outing planned to go get ice cream. However, when the cold front came through this week we all decided that ice cream was not what we wanted. We wanted coffee and donuts! So off to Krispy Kreme we went. The staff at Krispy Kreme were all fabulous which made our outing that much […]
This past Friday a few of our residents, associates and family members from the Gardens at Parkview made an after lunch trip to Braums. The weather was amazing and the ice cream even better! Nothing says "summer" like a big scoop of ice cream....or a huge banana split!!
Parkview's new bus has arrived. It's beautiful and catches the eye of everyone when we pass by. Our residents enjoyed their smooth Easter Day ride to church with cushy seats and tented windows. You know what they say "everything is better with blue bonnets on it." Those beautiful blue bonnets are in full bloom and so are we.
Our Parkview Independent Living residents were out and about once again. We enjoyed one of Grapevine Texas' hottest attractions, "The 2017 Jazz & Wine Train". The train carried us through a few beautiful communities, people waved as we passed by. This event included: live jazz entertainment, two gentlemen played saxophones and rendered songs, such as […]
The Parkview Family joined together for one of our Extraordinary Community Events of the year. Our residents hid over 1,000 Easter eggs between two courtyards. Prior to […]

Maggiano’s has a reputation as being one of America’s best Italian-American restaurants in Dallas. Maggiano's have been in business since 1991. We raised our glasses and enjoyed a delicious meal. The portions were generous and the staff gave us wonderful service! Shirley, where will we […]

We recently took a trip through the streets of downtown historic McKinney. We enjoyed a day filled with the history of this once quaint DFW community. There was so much to see and enjoy on this trip. The history of McKinney, one of the oldest towns in North Texas, dating back over 150 years to […]
We recently embarked on a tour of our sister city of Dallas to enjoy some of the city sites. The adventure at The Dallas World Aquarium began at the top of the rainforest exhibit, where exotic birds, such as cocks-of-the-rock and many species of toucans can be seen. Lounging around are two-toed and three-toed sloths. […]
Where do we even start to describe our outing to the "Senior Follies" at the Eisemann Theater? First, the entire cast of this Las Vegas-type variety show (complete with seriously skimpy and sparkly costumes) is over the age of 55. These ladies and gents still have what it takes. Second, we heard music from '30s […]
