For the past three months, a group of residents have faithfully attended Christianne Martineau’s French 101 Watermark University course, held twice a month on Fridays. Not only have they learned some basics of the language, but they’ve been exposed to French food, culture, history, and current events. Each person was even asked to choose a French name for themselves. Students had nothing but accolades for the course and its teacher, saying that Christianne was born to be an instructor and made it fun and interesting every session. For anyone interested, Christianne just kicked off French 102, picking up where French 101 left off. She plans to cover even more fascinating material, and assures us that she will help new students to catch up in the class. Come give it a try!
