Parkview in Frisco Presents Christmas Gingerbread – Anniversary Edition

WHAT: Executive Chef Russell Shields at Parkview in Frisco celebrates his seventh year creating gingerbread masterpieces. For the 2018 holiday season, he incorporates the anniversaries of well-known buildings and Christmas icons in his gingerbread creations. Included in this year’s gingerbread display are: New Orleans turns 300, the Silent Night Hymn celebrates its 175th year, Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Story turns 175, and Steamboat Willie of Disney fame is 90.

WHEN: From December 7th – 24th from 8:00am to 5:00pm

  • Open hours to view gingerbread displays:
    Friday, December 7th, 2018 – Monday, December 24th, 2018 from 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • Chef Russell works with the residents of The Inn (Assisted Living neighborhood) as they all participate in decorating gingerbread houses:
    Friday, December 7th, 2018, 12:30pm to 1:30pm
  • Chef Russell works with the residents of The Gardens (memory care neighborhood) to make and decorate gingerbread cookies:
    Thursday, December 13th, 2018, 12:30pm to 1:30pm
