Seniors from the Frisco community were invited by Parkview in Frisco in conjunction with Frisco ISD to take a tour of three of the Frisco ISD schools. Our purpose in hosting this event was to give seniors insight into their local community and to see first hand how their tax dollars are being utilized. We began at the administration building and visited an elementary school, a middle school, and a brand new high school. The group had the opportunity to go into classrooms, interact with students, enjoy band and orchestra performances, and hear from teachers and administrators. Our chef, Russell Shields, gave a cooking demo for the participants of the tour, and he had an amazing lunch prepared for all to enjoy. We had such a wonderful time experiencing everything that the day had in store.
