We’ve moved into Parkview. The staff and the other residents are just super. They were a lot of help. We try to meet as many new people as possible every time we go to eat in the dining room. The food is delicious. Our son and daughter-in-law like to come up and join us every chance that they get. The apartments are very nice. We have over 1100 square feet with two bedrooms and a very nice kitchen. We have our own washer and dryer in the unit and a small little porch outside. We’ve been here for three weeks. There are lots of things going on. It’s like a cruise. They have all kinds of entertainment, happy hour on Friday, movies, bible study, water aerobics, exercise, card games, dominos, a very nice library, a beauty salon and barber shop in the place.

We liked Parkview the best because of the atmosphere and environment. The director and sales person we spoke with were excellent. When we visited, it was meal time, and it looked like they were really enjoying themselves. The residents seemed very happy.

What a beautiful place to call home! We have lived here two years and have made more friends, and experienced more enjoyable activities than we ever imagined at this season of our lives. It is a great big family with a caring and dedicated staff.

My dad has lived at Parkview in Frisco for five years and we have been very happy. The facility is beautiful, the people are so nice and caring, his apartment is spacious and attractive w two bedrooms, two full baths, a full size kitchen w full-size appliances, a dining area, a huge master bath, large walk-in closets, and lots of storage. They have had the same staff for many years, many of them have been there since it opened. They have lots of activities and special events with high quality entertainment. And have shuttle service for church, doctor’s appointments, and shopping. There are so many more amenities and services – too many to name. I highly recommend this community to anyone!

We have lived at Parkview in Frisco for a little over a year. An important factor in our choice of Parkview was its proximity to children and grandchildren. At the same time, we appreciate the convenience of many shopping centers, medical services, churches, sports and other entertainment venues. We enjoy the varied activities that are available to residents. There are several different exercise classes, games, and clubs that range from the frivolous to the intellectual, not to mention the outside presenters who conduct sessions on topics of interest to us and our neighbors. Our only complaint is that there are often activities we would like to attend, but they overlap or occur at the same time. Needless to say, we haven’t had time to be bored.

However, since moving here, we have discovered that our neighbors are the greatest attribute of this community. From the day we moved in, we found the staff not only to be helpful, but enthusiastic in their work. We seldom eat a meal in the dining room that at least one member of the staff doesn’t come through stopping by tables to greet and check on residents. We’ve also met some fascinating people living here. Residents have lived in or visited almost every country in the world. They have retired from professions as varied as education, chemistry, engineering, medicine, coaching, sales, music, and service in every branch of the military. All have interesting experiences to share, and more often than not there are more connections than we could have expected. The interaction among residents and with staff members is occasionally noisy, but that lively atmosphere confirms the choice we made in coming to Parkview.

My mother is doing well with her move to this community. She is safe, and being cared for well. I’am pleased with all they have done for us. All is well, and I would recommend this community.

I moved my mom from Beaumont to Parkview in Frisco on July 30th. I had resisted moving her to Frisco because she had been in Beaumont all of her 87 years and had many friends. Parkview has been very good for her. Everyone is exceptional friendly…staff and residents. Her apartment is bigger, nicer and over a thousand dollars a month less than in Beaumont! She participates in many of the activities and seems very happy. The food is very good…much better than what she had in Beaumont. Over all, Parkview was a very good move for my mother…and me.

My wife is a resident of Parkview’s Memory Care Facility and I can say that she is getting the best care. The Caregivers are awesome and you can see how loving and caring they are just by how they interact with her.

She has settled in real well which was a major concern of mine since I had taken her out of another Memory Care Facility because of my concern for her care and safety.

I truly can say that I made the right choice in moving her to Parkview. The Caregivers are awesome and the Directors are really engaged and are also very Passionate and Caring.

This community is brand new. I did get a chance to tour the community though. The community is super clean and it sparkles. They offer a lot of activities that they try and get all the residents involved in. The staff was good at answering all of my questions. They however are still in the licensing process. It will be two months or more before they have availability [for Assisted Living and Memory Care].

I looked at Parkview in Frisco six years ago when it first opened – I loved everything about it. But, my parents felt they were ‘too young’ (mid-70’s) to move in. Fast forward to now – six years later – and they are in their second month of residence.

Over the last six months we looked at many, places in person (and dozens via the internet) – but none of them had ‘the entire package’ except Parkview. For US, that meant: Low Entry Fee, Curb Appeal, Resort-Style Amenities (pool, exercise room, activities, beauty salon/barber shop, movie theater {not just chairs in front of a TV}, library, game room), Well-maintained Grounds, Large 2 Bedroom Apartment (higher ceilings, normal-sized kitchen), Restaurant-Style Dining (with good selection, good food and large portions).

Parkview was the last place that we visited in person. We had put a deposit on another property, then decided to revisit Parkview at the last minute. The moment we walked in we all realized that it was THE ENTIRE PACKAGE. We had a meal in the beautiful dining room and the food was great. We followed that up with a tour of available apartments and found a perfect two bedroom, with two full baths, and huge kitchen with lots of storage space, a balcony patio and a small ‘bonus’ room they could use as an office and storage room.

The process from there on out was swift and pleasant. They provided us with numbers of people who specialized in ‘senior moves’, they were excellent and reasonably priced. The entire apartment was recarpeted, painted, and almost renovated prior to the move-in date.

My parents have interacted with, and had real conversations with, more people in the last eight weeks than in the last two years while in their own home. They are beginning to participate in activities – poker and ‘brain’ games for Dad, and exercise and puzzles for Mom. I really believe that this is the BEST place for them to live.

Oh! I almost forgot – Parkview is building a Memory Care building that will be complete sometime in 2016. This is important because we were also looking for that aspect in our ENTIRE PACKAGE! Perfect place – Parkview.

I think they do a great job overall at Parkview! The staff here is friendly and courteous, and they’ll always go out of their way to help. The service is very good in general! It’s a nice looking, clean place, the rooms are a nice size, and they’ve got a pool. I also think they do a great job with the food. It’s not fine cuisine, but it is always tasty!

She is doing very well at Parkview in Frisco. We are so blessed to have found Parkview with the help of A Place For Mom. This is the second place APFM helped us to find for mom. She was in independent living and now we have transitioned to Parkview. It is a beautiful place that is conveniently located close to our home. It is warm and inviting, and everyone there is like family. Absolutely easy to talk to the nursing staff and management with anything that we needed from day one. Very generous with letting us move her furniture in so that we could move her directly in from rehab. The food is delicious, the chef is so sweet. He comes and greets us and talks to us. He even made a special dessert for mom on her first night for the three of us, that was just an example of how they take care of you and your family. They keep us in the loop on events. We recently were invited to Grandparents Day and asked for a head count for the meals and activities. This community has an assisted living area and also a memory care facility, the transition will be so less traumatizing if the need ever arises. The same people will be around that already know her. I feel she will be happy there if it comes to that. They all dine together in a beautiful dining room. Every meal I’ve ever had there I have been impressed. As soon as I walked in and felt the love and the warmth I knew this was going to be her next permanent home. I would absolutely recommend this community to friends and family.

This is an AMAZING community – not only is it beautiful inside and out but the staff is sooo friendly and helpful (many of them have worked there for years!!) and the residents are sweet as can be. I’ve noticed that there’s ALWAYS a happy buzz in the restaurant – which to me says a lot about how much people enjoy themselves and I’ve NEVER seen that so consistently at any of the other many many communities that I’ve been to – and the food is GREAT! Parkview actually have the ONLY restaurant that I’ve been to in the US where I can get a salmon cooked and served as it should be – and I’m from northern Sweden so I definitely know my salmon! 😀 …and the grilled chicken salad with the Chef’s homemade dressing – O M G it’s so fingerlickin’ gooooood I wished they sold it bottled!! The last time I visited, I got the chance to see their new Assisted Living and Memory Care next door and…WOW!! That is the most astonishing AL/MC that I’ve EVER seen – on any side of the Atlantic ocean! It seriously looks like a serene SPA with a Texas-twist – it’s sooooo beautiful in every little detail and it’s amazingly well thought through to help the residents thrive. It totally astonished me and still, I have a veeeery critical eye when it comes to living conditions and surroundings! 😀 I definitely recommend this place! 🙂

Parkview has been our home for five years. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and the grounds are just beautiful. I still feel like I am living at a resort.  The amenities are great, and I am so glad I don’t have a house to take of. The calendar is filled with every activity you could possibly want to participate in. There is never an excuse for the lack of anything to do. My husband and I have never regretted our decision to move to Parkview. Our Parkview friends are like family.

It was just about three years ago that my wife and I decided that a senior retirement complex was right for us.  We visited dozens of sites on the internet, and drove to six places in the north Dallas area.  The one place that jumped out to us was Parkview in Frisco.  We have never been sorry that we chose this as our home. It is a an attractive facility, and the landscaping is beautiful. Parkview has several different floor plans and apartment sizes, but we chose a two bedroom, two bath apartment that meets our needs perfectly.  It has a modern kitchen, large living/dining room and a comfortable balcony with a view.  All utility expenses (except TV and phone) are included.  Our maintenance needs are also included and fixed rapidly just by a phone call. But it is the friendly residents and serving staff that puts Parkview ahead of other retirement complexes.  Smiles and hello’s greet you in the hallways and warm conversations are the norm in the dining room.  And by the way, the food and service in our Embers Restaurant is first class, with a wide variety of selections and all prepared and served well. We love to take cruise vacations, and our life “aboard” Parkview is very much like that on a premium cruise ship: daily activities, entertainment, dining, etc.  So if you are looking for a retirement place, you should come by Parkview in Frisco.  We think you will like it . . . we certainly do.

Recently I decided to make a change in my life. I sold my home in another city and moved to Frisco, Tx.  After looking at many places to live, my family and I chose Parkview.  After 5 1/2 months I have never regretted this decision.  Parkview is my beautiful new home!  The residents are wonderful, funny or can be serious, caring and a very diverse group of new friends.  They help in every way possible and they really care for you.  I enjoy the weekly house cleaning, the transportation, the MANY activities, including movies, and especially the well prepared meals.  There is a variety of choices for every meal and the staff works diligently to meet your every need.  For anyone thinking about moving to Senior Living, I encourage you to visit us.  We really like “new” friends.

I am beginning my third year at Parkview in Frisco and when people ask me why I don’t move into one of the new facilities being built I tell them it’s because of the people. The Parkview staff go to the extreme to try to make sure we have a pleasant, rich life. Whether it’s activities in the building, trips to local or regional sites, food served in the dining room or maintenance of the physical plant, they try to do it to the best of their ability every time. What they do and how they go about doing it is one of the great intangibles that can never be measured. I’ll take Parkview in Frisco over any of the  other independent living facilities in the area every time.
